Brake calipers
I bought some used brake parts and I dont know what some of these are. One set has 35mm pistons and has a brake pipe that connects the two halfs of the caliper , the second is the same except that they have spacers between the two calipers halfs with the same brake pipe. This makes the opening between the two halfs wider with the spacers

Without pictures, it sounds like you have rear calipers, one for solid disks and one for vented disks

Get ahold of Eric at PMB Brakes in Utah. He's a rebuilder and helpful. Great guy.

Check the piston size on the caliper with the spacers. If they are 38mm vs. 35mm then you have an uber rare Wide L-Caliper, only offered on 67-68 911S models.

question
I guess I shouldn't ask why you would buy something that you don't know what it is?
