The rt front clunks in rough terrain or chuckholes. I think it is the strut because when I jack it up I can duplicate the noise by lifting the wheel .
Has anyone found a really good replacement strut? Mine were rebuilt but the left side doesnt do this. Everything else seems tight. Does anyone have any recommendations to make the suspension smoother? I seem to have a slight steering wheel shimmy at about 75mph. Is this related or a seperate problem? Having own my 67 912 for 20 years and only just begun driving it, after complete restoration, I dont really know whats normal. Thanks Mike |

Hi,
Bad struts will cause the wheel to fight back when traveling over a rough road or bump. I do not know if you have a koni or boge front set-up, but both are available new. Just replace them and you will feel like you have a new car. Regards, JMB
