Metric Tap & Die Set
Where can I buy a decent quality metric tap & die set for less than $100.00? Something that I can use on my 912. I had another 1 hour project that lasted all day because i did not have a way to retap a rusty thread.
PP has one for $30.00 but it can't be very good don't you think? Thanks, Ron D

with my complete rebuild, (except engine) I found they only used 2 or 3 different sizes, I purchased 2 or 3 good quality taps and thats all I needed, and one odd ball one was to retap the plastic rose that holds the light switch to the dash, I dont think that one would have even come in a set....

I bought a cheapo one from Harbor Freight for $15.00 and it works just fine. I'm sure the one from Pelican will get the job done.

Received my 39 piece Craftsman metric tap & die set yesterday...looks great. I know I will be needing it. With tax & shipping it cost me $98.00.
Thanks, Ron
