Need Weltmeister tag info

I found a nice surprise this morning while vacuuming out the trunk! Along with trash, coins and blown fuses I found this small brass tag approx 1" x 3" rolled up in a dirty sandwich bag behind the battery. It looks like a dash plaque as it has two small brass stems on the back. Does anyone have any idea what this actually is or where it came from?
