356 Group NW Show.

Otto,

I drove to a place called Hood River. The 356 Group was having a show featuring "The 50 years of the 911 series. So we drive up today and put in the 912. It's close to a 911. It was a 698km round trip. I went 396km before I filled up with 9.6 gals. How do you like them apples and oranges. (mixing metric with US measurements). We did the first 338kms in 2hours and 30 minutes.

Here are some pictures. The first one is one of the roads we drove on. The next one is some 356's with Mt. Hood in the background. The next is obviously my 912. The next one someone shuck in a Ferrari. The next two is of a 69 ossi blue 912 that has only 20,000 original miles. completely unmolested that will be for sell. The last one is of a 914R light weight with a 3.4L engine. The car weights less than 2,000 lbs. I also have one of a VW Bug with a small block Chevy in the front. I can post it later if you want to see it.

Jaems,

I need a lot of fantasy to put this beautiful landscape here in the north of the Netherlands and Germany. Wooow, that is fun to drive! What a sight!

It's what I like, all the members of the Porsche family in one tour, from the 20 kmiles original to the modded 914. That is how it should be!

I see you mounted your new badge, nicely balanced, next to the other three on the grill. Are you allowed to have that license plate on your car?

A 2.0 914 was my first project, so I know what kind of pleasure these can give, but a 3.4 in 2.000 lbs must behave like a beast!

Thanks for sharing!

Otto

Otto,

I also have early German plates that I put on when I do the Oktoberfest show. Otherwise the Danish boarder plates are on all the time. The only holes drill for the plates are for Euro plates. There have never been any holes for US plates. I have a Oregon classic plate that is registered to the car. However, If I ever need it. I have it with a dealers magnet. I have only been stopped once without it on.
