Original paint

Have a 1968 US version 912. Second owner since 1974. Repaint (not original color) 1980. Engine rebuild and balance in 1980 due to broken crank. Been in storage since 1983. Am getting ready to do a restore and back to original color, Irish Green. Other than color car is all original. What is the thinking on the California EPA compliant water based paints verses originality?

have it restored in AZ. much easier there and no water base requirement, use whatever you like. Look up www.deluxecustoms.com, they do 356s and are fantastic.
