Oil pump not working well check oil pressure. Is your engine clean. Mine had all kinds of asphalt sound berrier all over the engine from it flaking off through out the years. This will block off the airflow over the engine. it was sucked through the fan shroud and placed all over cooling fins. I found out when I pulled the engine for rebuild.

The red is the Generator light and the green(which might have faded to white) is the oil pressure light.
If the temp needle is in the normal temp range and the red light is on all the time (while driving). Then you will need to rebuild/replace the generator. If the green light is on then you have oil pressure problems. If both are on then you may have a electrical short. Last edited by Jaems; 01-22-2014 at 09:41 AM.. |

Please some more info when it occurs. Do they light during/after a cold start? Do they light at exactly the same moment? Your description is quite vague. Standard or modified engine?
