REgret to announce the death of Howard Beard
I am sorry to have to announce that a longtime 912 owner, Charter 912 Registry member and genuine Porsche enthusiast has died unexpectedly at the age of 67. I make this announcement on behalf of Mrs. Judi Beard, who asked me to post notification of Howard's death the day before yesterday in Maryland. Howard was a genuine character with a wry sense of humor, and a steadfast friend who loved his family, his Porsche and his many club associates and friends. Best known for his numerous cross-country trips in his 912 to attend the 912 Registry Rendezvous, Howard was a popular and much valued friend to many. Sadly, we will not see him again. R/Dave L. So sad to hear this, met Howard a couple years ago in Hershey, seemed like a good guy.
67 is not enough. Condolences to the family. Larry
