03' Rendezvous Update

Just to bring folks up to date, the planning for the 2003 912 Rendezvous is still going full steam ahead. We will be at the same hotel with arrangements being made at a more upscale hotel for those that prefer those accomodations. Foleys winery will be the location for the Saturday night BBQ, other things include 2 driving tours to chose from, tech sessions, a peoples choice wash n shine concours and swap meet as well as things to do for those not interested in 912 Tech sessions (read wives)etc and anything else we can think of.

We hope to have a dedicated Rendezvous website and offical 912 Rendezvous logo up and running by the end of November, this will be a 1 stop shopping for all your Rendezvous needs including Rendezvous information as well as registration.

I had a nice talk with the PCA Special Interest Group Chairman last night. He has commited to helping us make this a bigger and better event with PCA Sanctions. I will be working with the Zone 8 PCA Rep to obtain these sanctions which include some $$ help to offset some costs but more importantly provides the PCA umbrella insurance policy coverage.

It is my understanding that in order for a person to take advantage of any insurance needs provided by the PCA you MUST be a member of the PCA. This insurance will not fix your car but will cover hospitalization and medical care in the event of a vehicular accident during a Rendezvous event. You can rest assured this will be absolutely clarified but I do know you MUST be a PCA member to take advantage of it.

I'll keep you posted on new developments and will certainly let you all know when the Rendezvous website is up and running.
