You've seen one 912, you've seen them all, right?

Check this one out.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1868408359

I live about 20 minutes away. I will be willing to check out the car for anyone interested. I will look for any rust and other typical issues with a 30+ year old car... HA HA, I crack myself up.

I think I am going to check it out for the amusement factor. I will ask to take it for a test spin... which means... I going to turn the bass up and get that thing shakin'.

Thats pretty sad...did you see the wonderful istallation work on those rear deck speakers...and that interior...jeez...the body worked looked slick though...if you don't care about keeping something original...

You would think that at some point during this project someone would say: "You know, I don't think this is such a good idea."

I would wager to say that this should have happened just before he cut out the rear deck (with tin snips, a steak knife, whatever they used to butcher that up), and decided that a firewall was really an improperly named device and that speaker cones would work just as well.

Plus, as everyone knows, speakers love to be covered in gas and oil, and never transmit any noise through them besides music.

What a fantastic car! Do you think $12k is enough for a price?

Angry

I almost puked on my keyboard. You got to warn us when you post this kind of stuff.

Find it and burn it! At least someone needs to find that “thing” and rip any and every Porsche logo and name off of it. It long ago lost any right to have the name Porsche attached to it.

I am one to let someone have a car made into what he wants but this one is just butt ugly all the way around from the materials to the workman****. What did this guy use to cut with, an ax? My only hope is that this was done to a rusty tub so a good one wasn’t wasted. To read the add you would think he was selling a collectors item ready to show. I would like to see what he would write up if he were selling moldy bread.

The new definition of “Poser”
