Just got a 67 912! Very nice. A few things though: past owner put in these recaro independent adjustable head rest type seats? Can you believe that! Original seats no where to be found! Anyhow, they do not have any seat/track sliders? Drives me nuts. My wife barely reaches the pedals, could be a good thing. No, just kidding. She loves the car and would love to drive it as a daily driver, but...alas the seats. Question, at last, where to find sliders/track rails etc. Will any other year/model Porsche hook up to? It looks like these seats just bolt on to the existing rails and that's it. I looked at some 914 seat rails w/adjustment levers/track sliders complete?

There are only two pieces (per side of each seat) that need to be in place for stock seats: the slider base and the rail. The outside base pieces have slots in it into which the seat adjustment paw latches. Most aftermarket fittings use the slider base as a mounting point, although all bets are off with a modified car.
For parts, try Jim at EASY. For 912 community info, 912BBS. For 912 Registry, 912 Registry Peter Drivers side/outside base and rail: ![]() Base/rail assembly with seat adjustment paw engaged:
