Window frame needs to out of the door, regulator in place but loose, cranked all the way down. Lower the glass into the door cavity. Requires twelve hands but with persistence, can be done with two: maneuvering the glass and the regulator, locate regulator clips into window bottom rail. After the clips have been located in the regulator, slide the window frame into the door cavity aligning the glass into the window channels.

The official method is:
Remove the window frame. with the regulator in place and tight, run it half way up and then the nylon clips will fit and slide into the slots. roll the window down and replaced the window frame. roll the window all the way up and then adjust and tighten the frame bolts. Then run the window up and down with the door open and close to check your window frame adjustment. If this is a new or different regulator. You may also have to adjust the regulator to the frame for a smooth up and down. |
