Fuel odor while turning hard right

when i make a hard right turn we smell gasoline for a moment then it goes away. i cannot locate any leak areas and believe that it might be some type of problem with the cis?
any ideas, we checked gas tank and under the car no tell tale signs. i would think that if it leaked from a line or the tank that the
car is 1975 911s 2.7l with CIS.

Check your gas cap gasket, could be cracked or just old and hard. Maybe right turns force the liquid up the filler pipe and pressurize the air space under the cap causing vapors to escape.

I had a gas smell for the longest time and it was the old gas cap gasket. I replaced the gasket and the smell went away.

Hello

Also check all the PVC vent lines runing from the fueltank into the fender.
