1967 912T Running rough

912 running fine and then started stuttering then stopped running. It then would barely start, would not idle and would backfire and then die. Any suggestions?

Fuel or spark, more information needed.

Sounds like it could be a fuel delivery problem. If'n you have a fuel filter look at that first. It may of become too dirty to pass fuel. Check and see if the fuel pump is pumping. If it is then the problem is South of the fuel pump.

Also the Distributor could of become lose and move to loose it's timing. If'n you have a good spark, the cap and rotor are fine. Then it is in the Carburetors, they have collected to much dirt. Because you do not have a fuel filter.

With the information you have given us. These are the usual suspects.
