Curiosity; What kind of upgrade are you looking for? Restoration or performance? The factory setup is more than adequate for the 912 as it is identical to the 911. 911 Brake Products and Accessories I did all my caliper restoration with Eric. http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/...psd33c16aa.jpg http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/...pse28ea765.jpg http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/...ps971d2029.jpg |

Hey Bob, Thanks for the reply and suggestions. After reading through some reviews and doing some more research I believe that you are correct. The stock arrangement should be satisfactory. From experience with my 914braking I too believe that the original setup should work fine. So I am now leaning towards cleaning and renewing. I actually just got the car back on the road after a year in restoration and really have not giving the brakes any attention...as a matter of fact they still have the old rotors and pads that came on the car. The calibers that you have pictured really looks like the BMW upgrade I completed on my 914 many years ago. They worked great! Thanks again for the suggestion and link to PMB. Russ |
