Gas replacing air in tires.....

I was looking (drooling) at a 76 930 from the Netherlands on Ebay and noticed this in the description of the car (valve circled in photo):
"THE GREEN TYRE VALVE COVERS ARE HERE ONLY PUT ON WHEELS FILLED WITH A SPECIAL GAS TO LOWER TYRE NOISE."

Is anyone (especially members in Europe/GB/Scandanavia) familiar with this gas? Does it also reduce unsprung (tire/wheel)weight?
Any info appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill.

Hmmm...maybe they are using this car in one of those expositions...you know they fill the tires with Helium to lighten the car so they can jump over 20 cars...Or maybe it's one of those "Green" conversions that runs on LP gas...and they use the tires as aux. fuel tanks? Perhaps it's a new way to avoid having to change the air in you tires when you drive into California...I hate it when they stop me at the state line and make me replace my perfectly good Texas air with smog laden California air( I think its a conspiracy to ship all of their smog to other parts of the country...one tire full at a time, while replacing it with fresh clean air...one tire at a time).
