Gas gauge?
Hello all,
I'm wondering if anyone would know how to isolate my gas gauge not working, from the gauge it's self, the sending unit and/or the connector to it.The connecter does have voltage(at the sending unit),whether it's correct,I don't know, the sending unit float goes up and down, but may be shorted,(how should I diassemble it with out breaking anything inside)and I don't know what to think of gauge as for testing.Any clues would be greatly appreciated ![]() ![]() Thanks ![]()

I'd give the in tank sending unit a visual. You'll probably find it's kinked up. I remember simply removing the screw from the bottom of the tube and sliding the core out. It's a delicate but simple mechanisim that should still send a signal to the gauge even out of the tank.
