I get 19 in all around driving. I have gotten 21 on a long drive on the freeway. This baby really drinks in the supreme gas. It isn't the most efficiant 1.6 liter motor ever made.

Anybody who's got any tips on making my 912e more efficient would be greatly appreciated. I know the obvious ones such as having a lighter right foot, sell it and not actually using it, any other suggestions? At around 18-20mpg it makes an expensive car to drive over here with petrol prices, around 45 pounds (whatever that is in dollars 70-80?) to fill up.
Anyway who cares, ITS A PORSCHE!! |

Nige: Aside from a perfectly tuned motor & clean air filter/intake about the only thing to do is make sure the injectors aren't leaking-this especially includes the cold-start injector on the rear of the throttle body housing.
