should the black clutch cable conduit (which seems too long), go under or over the accelerator bell crank pivot?

The clutch cable goes over the crank. There's actually a little strap for it. The strap is attached to the transaxle. The strap is part no. NLA.706.001.00 from Stoddard. Maybe Pelican has it too...
As for the accelorator pump problem, did you take the accelorator pump apart yet? There's a diaphram in there and it might be gummed up. I'm not sure, but I think that the rebuild kits come with new diaphams. Cheers, -Enrique Last edited by Enrique; 11-08-2002 at 08:47 PM.. |

I recently rebuilt my Solex carbs Enrique. Accel. Pump rebuild kits were part of the package and were sorely needed.
