912E engine need advice

I have a 912e engine that I have been sitting on for a long time. I was planning on putting it my 73' 914, but my 1.7 runs great and will not die, so I think I am going to sell it. I don't know what it is worth. The Engine # identifies it as a 76 912e engine (4061394). The valvetrain is very clean it turns freely. I do not have the original injection. I do have the correct dizzy. The engine really belongs back in a 912. Any idea on a fair value?? I think someone doing a correct #s car would like it. Thanks for any insight you 912 guys can provide. I have a 914, a 911sc, and a Beck speedster, but not very familiar with 912 stuff.

Should bring some decent money, I've been looking for engine (or shroud) 4061342 since I bought mine a few years back.

Yes the number is on the fan shroud. There is no number stamped on the engine which is correct for the 912E engine. I also have extra cylinders and pistons. The cylinders appear to be NOS. I am awaiting admin approval so I can post it on the 912 registry site.

I’d be interested in a purchase. Please let me know what price you come up with.

Thanks J
