Missing Torsion Bar Cover???
Hi all, I am about to buy a 1968 912. Lots of good with the car but i just noticed there are no torsion bar adjustment holes or covers. Is that correct? See the attached pic if it comes through. What might this mean? Also, does the actual bar look bent backward? Looking forward to your input!!!

The car is too far away to get another picture. What about the adjustment hole? Whats with that?

No torsion bar holes in the front fender is normal. They would be in the rear of the car. That is a bit odd looking. Might be for an external oil line or something else.

OMG! I am such an idiot! That picture is of the front of the car and I thought it was of the back where the torsion bar holes should be. How embarrassing!
Thanks you guys! |
