This link says the E has a 3.5 bolt spacing. Basically a A caliper with the spacer removed. The calipers on this thread have a 3.0 bolt spacing. Actually you have quite a few more options than those of us who have struts and calipers with the 3.0 bolt spacing. Look into the non S black Aluminum Boxster calipers. I think they fit under 15 inch wheels. That should be a nice upgrade.
You might give Clint Smith at Rebel S Racing a call.

I ended up using the banjo bolts from the old calipers. The guy I bought the calipers from gave me some curved line that fit almost perfectly. Ive only put about 30 miles on them so far. They still need to settle a bit, but as someone stated earlier, these will lock up and they do. Guess I need sportier tires

As for these fitting a 912E... I'm pretty sure those all came with 3.5" caliper mounts, so your option for upgrade are much greater.

Is there anyone that produces a conversion/adapter bracket that replaces the original caliper brackets that use the 4 threaded bolt holes on the early 911/912 front struts and will allow the use of 3.5" spacing calipers?

Seems like it would be easy to make, basically a flat plate that would bolt to the spindle and have caliper mounting holes spaced at 3.5" instead of 3".

I'm doing an engine swap in my '66 912 and would really like to be able to upgrade to vented rotors and larger calipers without having to shell out crazy prices for later struts/arms/etc just to get the 3.5" caliper mount spacing.
