912E Throttle Cable for Carbs

I have the 911 style threaded rod that extends from the accelerator pedal, through the center tunnel, and into the engine bay and I want to attach it to some type of connection for use with a set of twin Webers.

I can get the parts necessary to attach this rod to the bell crank (called a reversing level in the PET) that is bolted to the side of the 915 transmission. But I'm unsure of how to connect this setup with the typical Weber cross bar that links the two carbs.

Has anyone adapted this bellcrank setup for use on a type IV motor with carbs?

Or, does anyone have a suggestion for some type of cable that might connect my existing accelerator pedal threaded rod to the Weber cross bar linkage?

Jack

Jack,
Sorry to take so long to post. Here are some pictures of my 912E. The cable and carbs were in the car when I got it. I think the cable is just the original unit. The carb cross shaft and cable end mount is all a part of the carb kit I think.

Throttle

Thanks for the pics. They show how your cable attaches at the carburetors quite well.

I'm still looking for ways to use the transmission bell crank as a throttle actuator if anyone has pictures of that.

sorry to be reviving this thread, but can anyone chime in about The amount the mount the throttle cable is attached to? I have a single carb set up and the cable seems to be sticking. Mine also enters the engine bay from the left side of the engine, not the center, like this.

Thanks - after further research, I found it is actually sticking from the pedal box....
