This is a really well-documented restoration of a 912E that was 'left for dead'. I found the car on Craigslist Philadelphia about 5 years ago. I considered it a parts car, but my brother convinced me into selling it to him - he was looking for a project at the time. He has done an amazing job on it, and it is nearing completion, after a ton of work (and $$). Interestingly, this car was once owned by actor Barry Newman (Vanishing Point). He passed the car on to his nephew, who was the person I bought it from.
