67 fuse box replacement replacing the fuse box on my 67
Just finished replacing the fuse box on my 67. The old one was corroded and missing a couple fuse holders. The new one from Parts Obsolete went right in. I laid the new one on top of the old and removed the wires one at a time, cleaned and installed in new location. The Failsafe method. The new one looks great. With the cover off they look identical. Although the cover is more square looking, for those of you with concours cars. the old cover wont fit the new box either due to the cover screw location being in the center instead of offset.. Took it on a test run everything works great.Total time 4 hours. Expense, 25.00 for fuse box, the sore back is just part of the fun. And I became quite familiar with my wireing. Highly recommended improvement.
