Ball Joints

After looking around at a few shops to help put on my ball joints (quotes ranging from $40-100), I decided to buy the ball joint tool ($50). The new ball joints go on without any issues, but they just don't feel very mobile. They are URO and I was wondering if I should grease them before finally installing them into them into the car? If so, I have some leftover Red Line synthetic grease from doing my wheel bearings, would that be ok to use? Last, is there a safe way to take the boot off so that I don't damage it?

New ball joints are supposed to be tight. You can grease them in advance of installing and the wheel bearing grease is good for that.

Thanks for the response. I'll put a dab of the grease in the boot. Just want to build this thing correctly so it lasts

I've got reservations about URO parts, mostly of Chinese manufacturing. I would be hesitant in using them in a applications where safety is important... just putting that out there.
