What Wheels for moving a car around?
Anyone know what wheels would fit on my '65 912 just to move it around while I work on it? Currently it doesn't have any wheels or tires If I could put steelies on feom a Toyota or Honda or other, I could probably pick up a set for next to nothing. I just want to use them so I can roll the car in and out of a garage etc. while working on it. Thanks ahead of time for your answers!

Cut 24" discs from thick plywood, drill holes for wheel studs, install and roll anywhere you want to go. The 24" diameter allows four "wheels" to be made from a 4' x 4' piece of plywood or, if you are looking for greater strength, eight discs cut from a 4' x 8" sheet that can be doubled up to make four "wheels."
