I believe the answer is yes but there may be some extra weights added to the 911 front bumper which should be removed as the 912 engine is lighter.

i believe it's the mounting that is different between a SWB and a LWB bumper. it should work with some modification. think about the aftermarket S bumpers that are mounted to SWB vehicles. all the ads will say "will fit 65-68 with modification".

The mounting points are quite different. The 65-68 is an easy on/off but the 69-73 is somewhat more complicated. They won't interchange without modification. Scott

I belive the only differces are in the bumper brackets (from bumper to car) you will need the 69-73 type to fit that bumper you have.

I can check this later is you need ?

Just incase anybody is wondering.. the answer is a big NO. It was a good deal, so I bought the bumper anyway to try it. The mounts on either side match, but there are two big brackets that stick out towards the middle and mount with 3 bolts on to the side of the fuel tank. So, now I have an extra nice condition 1968 and later 911 bumper for sale if anyone needs one. Thanks!
