My Porsche 912 66 3 gauge Restoration. Advice Welcome..
I figured its about time for me to Post some Pictures of my car here on Pelican I always follow other Projects Seems I should share my progress with you. Early 1966 912 3 gauge Car Original color Irish green. I drove past this car for years in a storage lot, turns out it was a friend of my fathers car, He didn't want to let it go, i explained to him he was letting it go just by the fact its sitting in a field lot. Long story short its mine now and that's when my Porsche addiction began!
![]() Its been a struggle finding time and doing majority of the work on my own, due to running a company and a new fixer upper home! but hey i'm 25 I'll get it there Someday! Enjoy Pelican, Advice is Welcome I'm Not going for total original, Exterior Irish Green with the interior and other parts my taste and touch! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Cant thank My Nephews and Brother in Law Enough for the Push to get back at it and Help with the Body Work and paint. Also F Chavez for the use of the Booth This week. Long Week until Paint Day!
Its been a long week. Every evening has been no stop countless hours. My fiancé Christina and Her sons Dominic and Xavier I must say lent me so many hands and encouragement throughout this week.
Straightening the body panels after the primer block sanding with 320. We were set with a 2 do list. Had to repair a rust hole under the passenger side boot. And lining the floor pan with bed liner and coating the enitre interior with a matte black finish. Was Wet sand wet sand wet sand. Chris and the kids brought great company through each night. Here are a few pictures of this week. We have ran short on paint so tomorrow will be the final for the hoods fenders etc. Enjoy Any ideas on mirrors for this car? Fenders? Originals were welded up had a old 80s mirror looking into a more drive friendly mirror in chrome. Ideas let me know. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
