My 912E - Benjamin
New to the forum and to being a Porsche owner
Spent many a year wanting a dreaming of owning a Porsche. After many years I was able to purchase one. I have been a life long ACVW guy, builder and owner of a VW company Called VW LooseNuts. This opportunity to owner this Porsche came along and I sold my last ACVW build to purchase this Porsche project. It was in an accident about 15 years ago and has been stored in dry storage ever since. The motor and transmission as well as the rear section of wiring harness was removed for another 912E car that caught fire which kinda sucked but I didn’t really care lol. Right now it’s at the body shop in Eugene Oregon - BodyWorx getting the tub straightened out. Hoping to get it back on the road next summer. https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1706601.jpg Here are some pics of where I found it and where it’s currently at. https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1706630.jpg https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1706631.jpg Purchase some euro headlights https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1706618.jpg Found a type 4 motor and 901 transmission. Love your website - the windows are terrific. Good luck with your 912E. I am working on my 1966 912 with a type 4 engine conversion, but I don't possess anything close to your skill set.
