Just reading Duane Spencers book on the 912. He mentions that the later model Fuchs wheels will not fit on a 912. I find reference to two part numbers for the Fuchs' that I see for sale. Am I correct to assume that a 901.361.012.06 6J15 is an early wheel that will fit and a 911.361.020.10 6J15 is a later model that won't fit? Also, does anyone have any experience with what the difference is, they seem to have the same offset and back spacing. I'd like to get a set for my 912, but want wheels that will fit! Thanks for the help

On my 69 I have the 901.361.012.06, 6J15 with tubeless tires. With these wheels you have to use the VW " Big Boy" valve stem which is available from America's Tire Co. as their part # T15R. This gives a very good seal with no problems.
