1967 Porsche 912 wipers
I am restoring a 1967 Porsche 912 coupe. I recently put in a new ignition switch. I connected my new battery and the wipers began moving. I tried turning them to the off position and they still came on when I connected the battery. By the way, I had the ignition switch in the off position. What could possibly be the problem.

Could be that the wiper wiring is askew. Use this link: Early 912 Wiring diagram (thanks to Dave Hillman - RIP). Save the 'layered PDF file' and then open it using Adobe Reader (or the like) to use the layers feature for the windshield wipers only.

Thanks. I just noticed that all interior lights come on as well when I connect the battery.
