What all does this control??
 

Found this under the passenger deat after removing the seat. Some wires are corroded off, some are cut & some just not connected. Just need to know if I need to reconnect any. I don't have a center console or fuel injection, so that might be some of them. The small cube is the "door ajar" buzzer.

The larger socket would have had the Dreaded Seatbelt Interlock Relay. The relay has been removed and its function disabled by the splice of the large yellow and yellow/red wire, which is the signal from the key to the starter. This device was used on 74 cars and some 75s to prevent the starter from cranking when an occupied seat did not have its seatbelt fastened, and it was a short-lived federal requirement.

The other wires either end in those connectors, or in the case where more than one wire is crimped into a single connector, they serve as ways to connect the wires that are crimped into them.

It should be fine just as it is.

Well, the door buzzer doesn't work, but that whole mass of wires is basically tied in to the seatbelt interlock?

Yup, that it is. You can basically ignore it all. I don't recommend cutting the wires unless you know what you're doing, though.

Thanks Dave. Just wasn't sure if I needed to try and reconnect any of the broken wires. One less thing to repair.
