Another oil question

Changed the oil last Fall, prior to lay-up, but just wondering-
searched this site for comments re: the use of Valvoline Max-Life oil,
and the 911 thread became confused with the use os diesel Rotella 15-40, etc.
Question- is the use of the Valvoline max-life product worth the extra bux for a 2.0 ,'73 engine?

I use teh vavoline max life in an acura with 225k...It is for a higher mileage applications. It is also relativly cheap...If your engine is in decent shape...I would run straight 30w...kendall is my favorite...I have found the multigrade loses viscosity under summer heat...
