Throttle valve housing - rebuild or replace?

Car is a 912 E

Throttle sticks at wide open throttle. First half of pedal travel is fine. As soon as I floor it, the throttle sticks, and pulling the pedal back up will not help.

I removed the boot, sprayed/wiped down venturi with carb cleaner, trimmed the crimped end of the cable, and soaked with Kroil and PB Blaster. Even with the cable removed, I could still feel binding on the butterfly shaft.

Anyone have a part number for the whole assembly - they don't look too expensive, and if replaced, I would always have a back-up ready to go.

Thanks in advance,
Bill K

That's what my copy of the PET says for the 914. I don't know if the 912E throttle body is any different. It looks the same, but that doesn't always mean it is identical.

you will have to get yours rebuilt, 912e throttle bodies are impossible to find

Right you are Dr.
The pn of the original is 022 133 067 A - not listed anywhere anymore.

The 914 replacement unit (039 133 062 D) will probably bolt up, but I don't think the throttle venturis will match up.
The oem unit is as follows:
top - 58.82 mm
bottom - 57.65 mm
butterfly - 45 mm
