powering hedlight motors
Is there a way to power the headlight motors with out hooking up to the harness? I am trying to find the up position and the haynes manual doesn't match the colors I have in my harness. If you do have to hook up to the harness how do you get them into the up position?

What year is your car? Are you installing a new harness, if so, what year is the harness?

Putting 74 motors back into a 74 car after a complete restoration. Hayens talks about a blue and black wire. All I have is red - Power I assume, grey, green w/black and the brown - ground. wires on motor match color of wires on harness. I don't know if they worked when I took them out.
