Question Round fog lamp seals (?)

Hey,

I am restoring a set of round fog lamps and was wondering if anyone is aware of a supplier for the fog lamp seals. This is the seal that surrounds the fog lamp glass which is then pressed into the reflector.

Thanks!

Mike

fog seal

I had the same problem, I purchased a pair new lens and refurbished the casings,
the original seals were shot, i used permatex black silicone sealent#16b
carefully applied a nice thin bead on the lens lip and let it dry. I to was looking
for the seals but i am very happy with the way this option worked out.

Hi Mike,

I did the same as David, RTV Black around the rim of the lens, let it cure, then reassembled the fog light unit.

By the way, thanks again for the MBZ CD/ROM. It has been very helpful in keeping the wifes car running well.
