Fog Lamp Reflector Rechroming?

Does anyone know of an outfit which can rechrome the fog lamp reflectors? I cleaned mine up and sprayed them with reflective aluminum from Eastwood with limited results...not mirror-like as with the originals!

Alternatively, and I know probably unlikely, any suppliers out there with replacement reflectors?

Thanks!

Mike

Try polishing them. (Can't hurt, right?) Now that you've got a shiny coating, a polish might just get them as reflective as you want them!

A good metal polish might do the job.

Mike,
The place you want to go is Steve's Auto Restorations Inc. in Portland Oregon.# is 503-665-2222.These guys Manufacture 33-34 Steel Ford street rod bodies, and the antique headlight housings. They strip and Re-Silver any size reflector known.I sent them a pair of reflectors off of the euro driving lights on my 914/6 about 2 month's ago and they came back looking beautiful. They are not chromed, they can be described as a highly polished silver. You have to send them in to get an exact price quote, but on mine the total ran $123.00 for the pair, shipping and everything, and I live on the East coast. They also have a really informative web site that has size estimates for re-silvering.www.stevesautorestorations.com.They were good guys, easy to deal with and my driving lights are really bright. They probably have enough manufacturing capability to stamp out Waynes flares?hint
Hope it helps,
Ron
