914 Breakfast in Seattle

Let's do the first 914 breakfast on April 19th at Alki in Seattle. We can eat there at several spots, my favorite is the Alki Bakery. Lots of places to park the cars and show them off too. If its sunny, it will make for a perfect day. So it's 914 on 419 @9:14.

The last time I had breakfast in Seattle (1996), I ate at the Space Needle. I had a Salmon Eggs Benidict dish. Had to be back in Milwaukee the next day for a physical. My cholestorol was through the roof! And it was worth every last bite!

Wish I could join you guys, sounds like fun!

Yup, I'll be there. Prolly a bit late, we'll see. I want the wife and kids to come, also. Might take some convincing and a couple extra "helping hands". A 19 mo. old boy is quite fun...

Great idea! I am sure I can make that day. How about directions or an address for the out-of-towners?

Alki Bakery-2738 Alki Ave SW.
It's right on the main street at Alki beach.

To get there from I-5
Take the W SEATTLE BR/COLUMBIAN WAY exit- exit number 163A.
Take the W. SEATTLE BR ramp toward SPOKANE ST/PORT OF SEATTLE.
Merge onto W SEATTLE BRIDGE.
Take the ADMIRAL WAY ramp
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto SW ADMIRAL WAY.
Turn RIGHT onto 62ND AVE SW.
Turn RIGHT onto ALKI AVE SW, drive for awhile and its on your left. The beach is on your right!

Bring it even if the weather isn't great! I am bringing mine except if it snows.

Jamie, if ya go will you be leaving Friday? I think I would but need to make sure of the schedule first. It'd be prudent to caravan... just in case!

It rained all day here. Are you in a Banana belt??? Geeze.
I bet the putting greens were slow. Sure wished it'd dry out a wee bit. My balls are too slow

I think I can swing it Bruce. I've got to finish up my schedule at the store. Should work out just fine. I'm even thinking of trying to make Brads swap meet. Looks like about a 10 hour drive or so. Anyone interested in heading down for that?

Yah I don't think I'll be driving the leech down. Especially if I'm trailering my 911 down. SUV will be the key there! I'm planning on driving down in my Jimmy or my Durrango. I will have room if anyone wants a ride down! The only drawback there is being in a car with me for 20 hours

Cool.. maybe he can tell her about autocrossing, and how to do fast lap times..

I'd post a family pic, but it's more fun to see young guys get all toongue-tied..
