Triple Gauge Cluster Source
I'm looking for a source on this gauge-the one with fuel tank, oil temp, and oil pressure. Pelican has a kit advertised which they haven't sold for years. paspeedo.com has a new one for $425. I was hoping to sell my dual-fuel tank and oil temp-and get one for less than $300. Does anyone know where any are?

North Hollywood Speedometer makes whatever you want including the tri gauge, but I don't think you'll find it anywhere for $300. Here's the one I built with Pelican's kit.

Sorry I can't get my picture to post.

Yea, I guess $300 was a wish. I got the duel gauge from pelican for $150 used ,and was hoping for something like that. Guess it's back to adding a gauge pod...

Someone on the 914club BBS found a fuel gauge that actually matches the stock sender!! That would let you use the 911 gauge for oil temp/pressure, then add the (standard 2 1/16") fuel gauge down under the dash. If you're feeling ambitious, you could drill a hole and add a separate "low fuel" light to the dash.

Hollywood Speedometer will calibrate a VDO 2 1/16 gas gauge for the 914 sender for $40-50.

Note: $40-50 includes gauge.

Are you looking for this, I think they want 250~450 for this but I am not sure anymore. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...ywoodspeed.jpg

check your fuel sender there is a ohm# printed on the top. check vdo on the internet there is a company about four lines down contact them with your numbers and they will match a fuel guage. cost was less than $40.00 shipped. mine works. I put it in the consul where the old heat guage was.:p

Dbelleperc: Where is that quad setup from? I say F the triple and go for the quad gauge also. That would look great in the dash...too rich for my blood though. How cool would it be to have 6 gauges in 3 pods while still looking OE  Maybe use a little 2 gauge pod in the console for a CHT and VDO Clock.

The four gauge is from North Hollywood and I saw it at the autofest and the guy said they program everything how you want it, even the lights.

Ben,
If you are interested in assembling your own, I have a partially assembled triple gauge kit that I likely won't get around to completing. I located a Getty dash and am going with the stock 911 gauges. Shoot me an email if interested. Gary |
Is there any tech "how-to" on the install of a quad guage? I really like the idea of having that, but don't really know all that's involved in putting one in. Since my engine is still out and apart, I figure it's a great time to add any other senders/wires/etc necessary. being a stock 75 FI, I think I just have the oil idiot light sender and would have to add a pressure sender and oil temp sender.

I know I'm slobbering over that four guage. Saaaawwweeet.......
|
The quad gauge is indeed nice. One change i would make is to drop the volt meter and substitute a CHT meter. But I'd take it as is if offered!
