Porsche Crest Black paint

I'm planning on having an engine grill and Targa top painted by a shop. What type of paint should be used. How glossy did these used to be? and whats up with the textured top, is that something different? They both are badly faded -Thanks for the help, Rick

Satin...from what I can tell. Not shiny not flat...slight sheen...

See if you can get the engine grill powder coated as it will last much longer. Good luck
