Bosch 039 905 205A
The internal springs seem to do nothing what is wrong with this distributor? I cannot find a schematic. The advance weights swing freely but the springs inside this do zero or they are hooked up wrong I simply cannot figure it out

How do you remove the micro c-clip holding in the top shaft? I have tried two tiny screwdrivers , picks seems impossible. Is there a micro c-clip tool or something for this?

Hope this helps someone still cannot get the c clip out but got the drive dog gear pin out
It’s tricky used one style punch to drive the pin through the drive dog and just into the distributor shaft then switched to a straight round punch 1/8” Make sure to mark alignment of drive dog with black marker and shaft top Resting the side of the drive dog gear on the vise while holding dizzy against my body and used bfh ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

For future reference maybe this will help somebody else: to get that C-clip at the top of the distributor out the secret is to get a big screwdriver and put between the two pieces apply separation pressure by twisting the screwdriver and with a skinny pick put on one edge of the c clip opening and pick upwards and it magically pops off.
As usual mark the alignment before separating the two pieces of the shaft |
