I "love" bad wiring

Howdy,

As I was pulling out my alternator to see if it was still good, I noticed that the ground wire on the harness at the relay board had been rubbing against something and had worn through. As you can imagine, I was thrilled. Anyway, while I was up there, I saw a loose greyish blue wire that has the male spade connector going nowhere in particular. What is it, and where does it actually go? I didn't see any female ends with which to match it. Thanks a lot.

I can highly recommend a new Bowlsby alternator wiring harness. Fixed my problems. He makes an outstanding product!!!!

More info, please! Where does the wire come from? If a harness, which one?

I don't know offhand of any greyish-blue wire with a male spade connector. There is a blue wire in the main wiring harness that goes to the alternator warning light, but I can't think of other blue wires off the top of my head.
