Question horn button

I just installed a Momo wheel and adapter with the horn button from PP. Feels great. A few questions. My horn seems to stay on if I try to set the retainer ring all the way home in the wheel recess. Is there a trick to it, no instructions with the kit. Also the turn signal does not click of autimatically after a turn. Is this standard for the set up. I will need the horn to work for my inspection this month. Do many just omit the horn. Seems like there is very little space for which the button can be pushed to allow for contact. Thanks for any advice in advance. Greg 73 2.0

My horn doesnt work with my Momo wheel (actually, I just cant get it to work, i know it works) In order for the turn signals to turn off, make sure that the horn pad you screwed to the rear of your wheel has the tab at three o'clock, if you ar elooking at the wheel, and it is straight.

Hey I just did all this!

To get the turn signal to work the plastic tab on the horn ring attached to the wheel hub must face towards the drivers side when installed. I had to move my wheel around the hub to get everything to line up. Also make sure your screws are in good and tight, the mounting holes did not like up quite perfectly, so a little bit of persuasion was needed to get it to sit flush on the shaft.

My horn came on constantly the first time I put it in, but it was because I forgot to put the retaining rin in; make sure it is still in there and did not pop off while you were putting the wheel back on - mine was quite loose in there.

I used the Momo hub extension, as several people have said here that it's hard to not hit the wiper and turn stalks while turning. This gave me plenty of room; you may want to shorten the horn wires if they are taking up too much space. I have the Momo Sport.
