914 Screensaver

I am putting together a screensaver made up of images of 914 cars...race, drivers, in restoration, old, new, etc. and have compiled about 400pics so far. But I want to get some unique photo's in there.

You can pretty much bet that if your car is pictured on a web page that I have it. Every color style condition that you can imagine. But I want some more "interesting" photo's. I have several of the 914 production line at the factory, lots of wrecked cars, many racing shots, oodles of the advertisements, etc.

If you have a picture or pictures that you think are pretty neat, can I ask you to e-mail them to me? 914 cars must be the primary subject of the photo. Or post them right here on this thread. I will incorporate these photos into what I have so far.

Once I am finished I will make this screensaver available to everyone for free. I can send out CD's or post it on a website...whatever. It is just fun digging through all the images. It's pretty neat...with so many photo's you can pretty much go all day without a repeat.

I did not have those!! Thanks. EVERYONE.....do not assume that I have a photo....I am finding that there are gazillions of pics out there, but some have reallly poor resolution, etc. So gimme what you have! I do think many of you will enjoy this final product!

BONUS kudos to anyone who can provide a picture of an AIRBORNE 914.....or an upsidedown 914.

P.S. I am not putting any pics in that have kids in the photo....I don't know why......but it just seems like they should be kept out of it. You can add those pics yourself once I publish this screensaver.

Am at about 600 images so far.........c'mon.......SEND ME YOUR PICTURES..........I am becoming obsessed here...I want more more more.......the greater the qty of pics, the better the screensaver......if you have a collection of pics, let me know.....

I have a few "colorful" black and white photos I scanned out of a '70s CB book. I posted the cover on the 914Club Site and have the rest of the 914 images saved. They'll need a little editing to be used in the screensaver though.

well, I sure would like to get my car in there. I only recently posted to the owners galery, so you may not have it. I'm sure you have reviewed those, but I don't know when, and now I can use this excuse to show off my new paint. This car is my baby- I know every bolt. Its got 367,000 miles, and I drive it almost every day.
