Did punch your light in or someting?
what happened to your headlight? i am so sick of people asking me that. I dont know how to fix it, i've tried every reasonable thing i could think of, there is a little rust behind the headlamp, maybe the metal its screwed into is bowing out? i dunno, does any one know why this is happening

You've loosened the bolts and tried adjusting it that way? Might as well get this question out of the way.

Looks like a left side light cover was put on the right side.

Your headlight is OK, you just need to keep working on the adjustment. It is tricky as there are many angles that must be lined up simultaneously. It CAN be done, it just takes lots of patience (and a beer or two...). Don't give up!

I believe you should not lossen the outboard side, by the turn signal. Try rotating the inner pivot. The height looks OK, it just looks like it may be too far forward at pivot point. BTW, that is a really nice color.

Just because the left headlight is ok, it doesn't mean somebody didn't put a left side cover on the right side. Should be easy enough to double check.

Part #10 are the allen bolts for adjusting the height.
Part #6 can crack or break. I think there is also a bushing at that pivot that could be gone. ![]() |

BTW, in case you haven't tried it yet, ALL of the mounting points with Allen head bolts have some play in them. Start with one pivot, get it lined up, then go to the other. You'll probably have to go back and forth a couple of times to get everything lined up. The headlight "blind" is also manueverable as well.

Hey Rob914, how did you make out with the adjustment?
After reading your post I was prompted to spend some time messing with mine. They look pretty good, and in the process have found yet another suggestion for you - Try disconnecting the actuating arms from the motors; that'll allow you to manipulate the assembly easier. I also loosened both sides too, it made a huge difference. Cheers Jeff
