Hello everyone-

After spending many years in Georgia, my 1970 914-6 is back and in top form.

The car features a 2.7 CIS motor, steel flares, and was once owned by Reeves Callaway.

This is my 3rd 914, and I plan to keep this one a while...

Enjoy the photos.

Nice looking car there, love the blue and the six.

I hope to see it at some future Porsche event.

Do you have any before photo's or progress photo's?

I suspect there's more to this car than meets the camera. Crank fire?

Very slick. Show us more.

Electromotove multiple coil crank-sensor ignition, shuffle pinned main bearings, boat-tail and port/polished main bearing webs and mooned cylinders.
Clearanced heads and pistons for higher compression ratio, reground cams to 911SC specs.

Before and restoration in-progress pictures to follow - this thing has very little original body steel...when I bought it in 1990 it was a fiberglass-flared GT wannabe held together with bad brazing and bondo.

Quite a nice ride you have there!

I love the green motor/blue engine bay look, not to mention you have some other nice stuff crammed in there.

Nice indeed. Now, would you care to disclose how many of your children have you sold to finance this magnificent project?

Is that an upgraded Mag case or a Alumn case? Just wondering...bet it's a sweet revver. Any dyno numbers on that sucker? Looks great, not sure if that's a good enough word for it

Sorry - He's a water-cooled guy.

Makes go-fast Callaway Corvettes in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Once upon a time he made turbo kits for the 320i, did Austin Martin engine development, etc.

See:

http://www.callawaycars.com

His brother makes the golf club.

Ok, now I know who you are talking about. I didn't realize he was in Ct. I grew up in Ct., moved here to NC 10 yrs ago, never realized R.Callaway was a Ct. resident. Cool.
His brother does indeed make very nice golf equipment.
