Haltech on a Type IV? Anyone experienced?
I have a 2.6L type IV that I would like to use a Haltech ECU to control. Anyone with experience? Turbo experience? Either or both!
Thanks! |

When I'm trying to determine is it worth the extra money for the 1500 based on those factors alone and has anyone had any experience with auto tuning on.

Being that I'm prolly not going to put the Platinum into use at this point...just go with the Elite, the 2000 ecu might be up for grabs soon. As far as tuning goes; there are 2 shops in SoCal that offer real time/ on chassis dyno set ups (n/a or boosted), and Haltech offers a "Tuning school" at their Lake Havasu location. Lots of Haltech support products / wire schematics available via their online sales, and several distributors. Great product QC, Australia mfg'd !

Haltech ecu harness comes 90% finished , you just measure off/ trim to your custom requirements & solder the corresponding connectors in place. I put this one together in a few evenings.
