Cleaning Pedrini Rims
Hi all,
Anyone have any ideas on how to clean Porsche 914 Pedrini rims? Is dry ice cleaning or high pressure water blasting safe to do on these magnesium rims? Note, the dirt & grime is embedded into the rim surface and simple soap & water isn’t getting them clean… I’m not willing to scrub them with anything abrasive and chance ruining them. Do any shops do this in the SF Bay Area? Thanks for your help, P924S ![]() Last edited by P924S; 10-22-2022 at 01:42 AM.. Reason: Missing word |

I have a set on my Palma Green 914 and recently found Voodoo wheel cleaner at my local NAPA. Works great, not perfect but for a $15. investment it does a great job. As far as I know the next step is blasting/powder coating

Have them soda or cryo-blasted then powder coated the correct color. A bit more money than rattle can finish, but it will last a lot longer with no maintenance issues.
