914-6 Parking Brake Light

Is this driven by a relay, or directly from the switch?

Is it supposed to blink when the brake is engaged?

Mine has never worked, and I'm trying to troubleshoot.

Nope, it's not supposed to blink. It may just need to be cleaned, but can be replaced easily too. It's the same switch that's used at the doors for the interior light. It's only held in place by a single philips screw, but you mey need to remove the brake lever.

My parking brake light is on with the parking brake pulled up and goes out when it is released. It does not flash whn it is on.
